Bespoke Commissions
Over the years that I have been practicing the endangered craft of bookbinding, I have been asked to design and create an amazing array of books and boxes. Commissions that I have been asked to make have included complex albums and scrapbooks, personalised sketchbooks, interesting protective slipcases and clam shells to store precious books, papers, or objects and occasionally repairs to treasured but tattered books. However, I prefer not to work on book repairs – I don’t like the responsibility! I have also taken on projects that combine my expertise in bookbinding, box-making and stitching.
